1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Vicinity ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Vicinity is a mobile application that enables couples to:

• Share daily photos with their partner
• Answer relationship questions together
• Build a shared photo calendar of memories
• Strengthen their connection through daily interactions

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 17 years old to use Vicinity
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account

4. Account Registration

Phone Verification

• You must provide a valid phone number for account creation
• You agree to receive SMS messages for verification purposes
• You are responsible for any charges from your mobile carrier

Partner Connection

• Connecting with a partner requires mutual consent via invite code
• You may only connect with one partner at a time
• You must have permission to share another person's phone number

5. User Conduct

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Respect your partner's privacy and boundaries
• Share only appropriate content
• Be honest in your interactions
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account

You agree NOT to:

• Share inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person
• Impersonate another person
• Use the App for commercial purposes
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the App
• Share your account credentials with others
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Prohibited Content

You may not share content that:

• Contains nudity or sexual content
• Depicts violence or harmful activities

Content Ownership

• You retain ownership of content you create and share
• You grant us a license to store and display your content to your partner
• You are responsible for the content you share
• We may remove content that violates these Terms

7. Premium Subscriptions

Billing

• Premium features require a paid subscription
• Subscriptions are billed through the App Store
• Prices are subject to change with notice
• All payments are processed by Apple/RevenueCat

Renewal and Cancellation

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid charges
• Manage subscriptions through your App Store account
• No refunds for partial subscription periods

Premium Features

Premium subscribers receive access to:

• Exclusive question decks
• Unlimited photo storage
• Advanced relationship insights
• Priority customer support

8. Privacy and Data

• Your privacy is protected under our Privacy Policy
• Content is shared only with your connected partner
• We do not sell or share your personal information
• You can delete your account and data at any time
